The studio performances of his that I listen to & love are on the "Reel to Reel" and "Piping: Because We Enjoy It" albums. One of my all-time favourite tunes is his hornpipe, "Emily Kate MacClellan". Nice glasses, haha. I once witnessed Scott in a tussle on the dock of the Vancouver Yacht Club. There he was, surrounded by rich yacht owners in navy and white, and him squaring off with one of his old buddies, a beer still shoved down in each pants and coat pocket! A couple of punches thrown, a few names called, then hugs and off to Chinatown for food, where his table ended up ordering some "mystery" dish that had fish eyes around the edge. So I literally yelled out loud and did the fist pump and everything stupid like that cause I was absolutely excited about this, only to get this message a half hour later about Scott and I've been totally bummed for hours. Your story tells such a great picture of Scott and you have taken something sad and brightened up my day again to get back to thinking of the positive things about him. My friend, I thank you for that ! You can publish that if you like, I tried to but had to sign in and didn't have a password etc so couldn't do it.
