Hi there...

I have been worried for a while now that my style is too heavy. I think that my fingers move too far off the chanter and this makes my D gracenotes and low A's going into taorluaths and crunluaths very heavy. I'm working on getting more accurate with my movements and speeding them up, and my E doublings are cleaner and faster when I relax my top hand and keep my fingers close to the holes.

I must say that this post did settle some of my fears... I have been very concerned about not being able to advance without sorting out my 'style' first. Am I doing the right thing?

Matt

ps. I really enjoy your site/blog. Thanks for all of the insight.
